I am a journalist, a photographer, and the Director of ebicompany Inc.

My work is dedicated to documenting and interpreting culture at the intersection of Japan and Europe. For years, I have operated at the heart of international cultural exchange. From the halls of the Louvre and UNESCO to high-level global summits, I have served as a linguistic specialist bridging Japanese, English, and French. Today, I have evolved that expertise into a multifaceted creative practice: I write and photograph the stories that define our cultural landscape. As a journalist, I explore the nuances of travel and the representation of the other in our society. As a photographer, I use my lens to capture the unspoken elements of cultural spaces, providing a visual narrative that complements my writing.

Through ebicompany, I provide specialized museum services, helping institutions and municipalities craft their international narratives and reach a global audience. Currently, alongside my work as a lecturer at Kanazawa University, I am a Ph.D. candidate in Media Studies at the University of Kent. In a past life, I was a dedicated language instructor and a consecutive interpreter. While I still navigate the world through three languages, those roles now serve as the ears and eyes for my journalism; they allowed me to spend decades listening to the world’s most influential voices before I began to find my own.

I hold a B.A. in Liberal Arts from International Christian University (ICU) and a Master of International Affairs from the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID) in Geneva. When I’m not at a museum or in a cafe, I’m likely playing the viola or walking the streets of Paris and Kanazawa, looking for the perfect light.

私の活動は、日本と欧州が交差する地における「文化」を記録し、解釈することに捧げられています。長年にわたり、私は国際的な文化交流の中心で活動してきました。ルーヴル美術館やユネスコ（UNESCO）、さらにはハイレベルな国際サミットの舞台にいたるまで、日本語、英語、フランス語を架橋する言語スペシャリストとして役割を果たしてきました。今日、私はその専門性を多角的なクリエイティブ活動へと進化させ、現代の文化スケープを形作る物語を、執筆と写真を通じて表現しています。ジャーナリストとしては、旅の機微や、現代社会における「他者」の表象について深く考察しています。また写真家としては、文化的な空間に潜む「言葉なき要素」をレンズで捉え、文章を補完する視覚的なナラティブを提供しています。

エビカンパニーを通じて、私は美術館・博物館向けの専門的なサービスを提供し、様々な機関や自治体が国際的な発信力を高め、世界中の人々に届くストーリーを構築できるよう支援しています。現在は、金沢大学での講師としての職務に加え、ケント大学（英国）のメディア学博士課程に在籍しています。かつては、熱意ある語学講師や逐次通訳者として活動していました。現在も変わらず3つの言語を通じて世界を行き来していますが、当時の役割は、現在のジャーナリズムにおける「耳」と「目」を養ってくれたと考えています。自分自身の声を発し始める前に、何十年もの間、世界で最も影響力のある人々の言葉に耳を傾ける機会を得られたのは、そのおかげだからです。

国際基督教大学（ICU）にて学士、ジュネーブ国際開発高等研究所（IHEID）にて国際関係学修士を取得。美術館やカフェにいないときは、ヴィオラを弾いているか、あるいはパリや金沢の街を歩きながら、完璧な光を探し求めています。

Bonjour et bienvenue sur mon site web. Je suis journaliste, photographe et directrice d’ebicompany Inc.

Mon travail est dédié à la documentation et à l’interprétation de la culture, à la croisée du Japon et de l’Europe. Depuis des années, j’évolue au cœur des échanges culturels internationaux. Des galeries du Louvre et de l’UNESCO aux sommets mondiaux de haut niveau, j’ai mis mes compétences de spécialiste linguistique au service du dialogue entre le japonais, l’anglais et le français. Aujourd’hui, j’ai transformé cette expertise en une pratique créative multiforme : j’écris et je photographie les récits qui définissent notre paysage culturel. En tant que journaliste, j’explore les nuances du voyage et la représentation de l’autre dans notre société. En tant que photographe, j’utilise mon objectif pour capturer les éléments non dits des espaces culturels, offrant ainsi un récit visuel qui complète mes écrits.

À travers ebicompany, je propose des services muséaux spécialisés, aidant les institutions et les municipalités à façonner leur communication internationale et à toucher un public global. Actuellement, parallèlement à mes fonctions d’enseignante à l’Université de Kanazawa, je suis doctorante en études des médias à l’Université de Kent. Dans une autre vie, j’ai été une enseignante de langues passionnée et une interprète consécutive. Bien que je navigue toujours dans le monde à travers trois langues, ces rôles me servent désormais d’yeux et d’oreilles pour mon journalisme ; ils m’ont permis de passer des décennies à écouter les voix les plus influentes du monde avant que je ne commence à trouver la mienne.

Je suis titulaire d’un Bachelor en arts libéraux de l’Université chrétienne internationale (ICU) et d’un Master en affaires internationales de l’Institut de hautes études internationales et du développement (IHEID) de Genève. Quand je ne suis pas dans un musée ou un café, je suis probablement en train de jouer de l’alto ou d’arpenter les rues de Paris et de Kanazawa, à la recherche de la lumière parfaite.
